About these terms

These terms apply to the Chiqi app and are in addition to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). By using Chiqi you agree to both. If they conflict, these terms apply to Chiqi-specific features such as tokens and Perfect.

The service

Chiqi helps you build a digital closet from photos of your clothes, suggests outfits from the pieces you own and lets you plan what to wear. Pieces are cut out of your photos on your iPhone. Perfect sends the cutout of a single piece to an AI model that turns it into a product-style photo.

Perfect results are generated by AI and may not be exact. We keep colors, patterns and details as close to the original as we can, but we can't guarantee every result.

Tokens

New users get a one-time allowance of free tokens. Each Perfect uses a number of tokens shown in the app. Tokens have no cash value, can't be transferred or exchanged and are tied to your anonymous account on this device. If a Perfect fails, the tokens it used are returned.

We may change the number of free tokens or the cost of a Perfect in the future. Changes apply from then on and are shown in the app.

Premium and fair use

Premium is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple Account, and the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel it in your iPhone's Settings.

Premium includes unlimited Perfects for personal use on your own closet. To keep the service fast and available for everyone, we apply reasonable daily limits that normal personal use won't reach. Automated, bulk or commercial use (for example processing products for a store) isn't allowed and may be limited.

Your content

Only add photos you have the right to use. You keep all rights to your photos and to the images Chiqi creates from them. Don't use Chiqi for anything illegal or to process images of other people without their permission.

Availability and liability

We work to keep Chiqi running smoothly, but the service is provided as is and some features (such as Perfect) need an internet connection and may occasionally be unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the app.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms, the current version will be published on this page with its update date.
